RIP Hank Williams

55 years ago, at 3 am Eastern Standard Time, on a cold road somewhere between Knoxville, Tennessee and Oak Hill, West Virginia, the King of Country music, Hank Williams died in the back of a Cadillac on the way to a New Years Day show in Canton, Ohio. Let’s keep the spirit of Hank Sr. alive and rejoice in the simple beauty of his legacy.

one of the most tragic and untimely deaths in music history. We could have been hearing sooo much more wonderful music… but the Lord Took his pain and took him to a better place. Hank you are the man and will always been the man.

Hank did a lot of music in his short life and laid a really solid foundation for the entire genre. He was, and remains, The Man.
