No Country For Old Men
“No Country For Old Men” is on of my favorite Corman McCarthy books and the Coen brothers (Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Brother Where Art Thou) are some of my favorite film makers, so you know I’m anticipating thier adaptation of this book about a drug buy gone wrong in rural West Texas. The film stars Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Woody Harrelson.
It was recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival to great reviews.

That movie looks good. Thanks for the heads up. I love all those stars in it, it’s got the fabulous Coen brothers, and West Texas. All it needs is Willie Nelson on the sound track to make it perfect.

I would have liked to see Willie in the cowboy role in the Big Lobowski. Damn Sam Elliot is just so good at it.

I also read the book and loved it. I also am a huge Coen brothers fanatic. I can’t wait for this to hit the theatres. Cormac Mcarthy and the COen brothers together can’t go wrong. You Betcha!!

Yeah, for a couple of guys from Minneapolis, Minnesota they capture the Southern mythos pretty damn well.

Sam Elliot plays a good cowboy, that’s for sure.
Willie is a singing cowboy, my favorite.
