Bloodshot Records will be holding their 4th annual Yard Dog Party and official SXSW showcase. Their artist will be performing at many other showcases and parties around Austin. A partial schedule follows:

I thoroughly enjoyed the Bloodshot BBQ here in Boston last week. Ha Ha Tonka, Justin Townes Earle and Deadstring Brothers were all great. Charlie Pickens rocked, too. Great merch also, most was $10 or less. Bloodshot rocks!

Bluegrass supergroup “Cadillac Sky” has some great performances over at CMT Unplugged at Studio 330.  Go watch ‘em over there and then go see them on the road as they come to a town near you

What’s it mean to have cross-genre cred? Well you could do worse than the great Dwight Yoakam who will be the only artist performing at both the Coachella indie rock festival (April 24-26) and the Stagecoach country festival (May 3-4), both held in Indio, Calif.
